The purpose of this corporation shall be to preserve the historic elements and unique ambience of Silver City, Nevada; to promote community enjoyment and use of the Silver City Schoolhouse Community Center and grounds; and to help support community projects that enhance and expand the experience of art, culture and history for the people of Silver City, Nevada.
The Silver City Schoolhouse is at the heart of our community. It is where we teach our children, greet our neighbors, eat, laugh, grieve and celebrate life with its twists and turns.
We fought long and hard to restore this building to its place in our lives, and it is here for us to use.
