Polecat Tavern in Carson City, NV is a place for music and the home of the open mic! The mic is open anytime the tavern is open and there is not a booked use of the stage. You are welcome to come and perform songs, magic or comedy acts, or practice a speech, play or whatever. Time limit will depend on wait list.
We are a brand new establishment owned and operated by international performer, Keith Alan Barnett, and his wife and partner, Chrissi Barnett. We serve drinks — beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea and cocktails — with prepackaged snacks and treats. Maybe some donuts from down the street on Sundays? We now have casino video games at the bar.
We're open Wednesday through Sunday from 3pm til ? with booked acts on Friday and Saturday nights and formal Open Mic, Acoustic Jams, Ukulele Group, Song Writers' Workshops and other happenings on Thursdays and Sundays. Check out our website and Facebook for schedules!
