Ghost Walk + (Optional Add-On) Mini-Paranormal
Ghost Walks begin promptly at 7:00 pm. New in 2026 - purchase your Ghost Walk ticket with an optional add-on mini-Paranormal investigation from 9:30-11:30pm
Each Ghost Walk experience will feature a knowledgeable guide from our Paranormal team. Visitors should be prepared to walk about a half mile and climb about 60 steps. This Ghost Walk is designed for people that would like to know a little more about the Paranormal activity at the historic Nevada State Prison site. Think of it as an 'Intro', or 'Paranormal 101'.
If the Ghost Walk piques your interest and you want a more formal introduction to the world of Paranormal Investigations, extend your night and purchase an add-on Mini-Paranormal investigation, which will take place after the Ghost Walk, from 9:30-11:30pm.
A ghost walk is not a haunted house but a walk in the dark and stories of deaths and paranormal activity.
The Nevada State Prison Historic Site is no longer an active prison. It closed in 2012. However, it is still Nevada state property, administered by the department of Corrections, so we must have all visitors follow the following rules (*Customers may be asked to leave if they do not comply):
- No blue jeans. Inmates wore blue and photos are encouraged. Don't spoil the fun!
- Closed Toed shoes must be worn - the terrain is uneven.
- No weapons, alcohol, tobacco, or drugs are permitted on the property.
- No minors under the age of 15. Anyone under this age will be turned away with NO REFUND.
Your ticket purchase is an agreement that all members of your group will follow these rules. Any visitor that does not, will be asked to leave, and no refund will be issued.
We ask that all visitors wear comfortable clothing.
A FLASHLIGHT IS REQUIRED!
Please consider bringing water. It may be warm, even after dark.
