Debbie Corona, formerly of Carson Valley Art Center, takes the sip-and-paint concept to another level with her mobile business Studio 775. She brings all the art supplies needed while the host provides the space for adults or children to paint. Occasions run the gamut from birthday parties for adults and children to girls' night out to home-school classes. Hosts are encouraged to choose the subject matter that Corona will lead. Studio 775 is also a regular at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City on Friday nights and at Mad Dogs Bar and Eatery in Gardnerville two Saturdays a month; these sessions allow the public a chance to paint and sip. At the end of each session, participants have a painting they've created to take home. While Studio 775 operates mostly in the Carson Valley, Corona will travel to Carson City, Reno and Lake Tahoe.
