This house museum is a part of the Carson City parks system and includes the Foreman-Roberts house on a quarter-acre in downtown Carson City. The house itself originally sat in Old Washoe City and was moved to the Capital City in 1873. The house museum is listed in the National Historic Register and is usually open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. It can also be reserved for weddings or other events. You can take advantage of the nice yard and picnic tables.
