Single Tree Access Trail

This trail serves as the access point into the Pine Nut Mountains on the east side of Carson Valley. It's off Pinenut Road in South Gardnerville and is characterized by one lone, large tree in the middle of the parking area. It's predominantly used as a mountain biking trail, while ATVs and motorized off-road vehicles are prohibited. Still, horseback riding and hiking are encouraged here, and dogs are welcome. The parking lot has a BLM map showing the various trails of the Pine Nut Mountains from Single Tree's access point, so pick up one and explore the east side of the valley.
