Cultural Arts Center serving Greater Tahoe and Reno

Founded in 1976, the Brewery Arts Center (BAC) is a cornerstone of the arts in the Greater Tahoe and Reno area, located in the historic district of Carson City. Encompassing two city blocks and housed in two historic buildings, the BAC is dedicated to enriching the quality of life through arts and culture for all ages.

Events and Activities

The BAC hosts an array of events and activities each year, including theater productions, concerts, art classes, children's programs, film screenings, and more. Highlights include the Levitt AMP Carson City Music Series, offering free outdoor summer concerts that feature a variety of musical genres, making it a vibrant community hub during the summer months.

Facilities

The center boasts several facilities, including the 150-seat Maizie Theater, a 250-seat Performance Hall, an Exhibition Hall, a Grand Ballroom, and an Artisan Store. Additionally, its educational wing offers studios for painting, pottery, and other artistic endeavors, providing multi-generational and multi-cultural art experiences.
