Red Hut has been a Lake Tahoe favorite for decades, and its Carson City location is no different. It's the place to go for waffles (including bacon and chicken waffles), fried egg sandwiches, omelettes and the sweet and savory pancake sandwich of egg, bacon or sausage. For lunch there's the chicken caesar salad, the Tahoe Bleu Burger and the delectable Peanut Butter Burger. Drop in for a cup of coffee or an old-fashioned soda from the soda fountain, but be sure to finish off with a scoop of ice cream as well.
