Railroads are an integral part of the history of the Silver State, and the Nevada State Railroad Museum honors that part of our past. This facility collects, preserves and interprets all sorts of items and information as it relates to railroading in Nevada. In addition to exploring the permanent exhibits, guests who time their visit correctly can take a ride on a real, working train. The train ride is offered on weekends May through September and on certain dates in October and December.
