Gertrude's Garden Day Youth and Family Event
Youth and their families have a special day to learn about fall gardening and having fun in Gertrude's Garden at the last Youth and Family Event of the season, at Dangberg Historic Park.
This event is in partnership with the Heritage Park Garden Volunteers of Gardnerville. Heritage Park Gardens is a project of Main Street Gardnerville.
Children will plant and take home a greenhouse kit, make Halloween themed garden crafts, participate in a garden scavenger hunt, and learn about the wonders of an outdoor garden.
Please RSVP to events@dangberg.org. Goodie bags for the first fifty youngsters. The event is suitable for ages from four to fifteen years.
This is an outdoor event. No pets please, only certified service animals. All children must be accompanied by an adult, no drop-offs please. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages, as none will be sold at the event.
