Love Notes Short Film Competition Screening
Can you make a short film in just two weeks?
Love Notes challenges filmmakers to capture the many forms of love — romantic, unexpected, messy, joyful, heartbreaking — all within a tight creative window. Registered teams will have 14 days to write, shoot, and edit a 5–9 minute short romance film inspired by a set of surprise prompts revealed at the kickoff.
This competition is about storytelling under pressure, creative problem-solving, and celebrating love in all its beautifully complicated forms. Whether you’re a seasoned filmmaker or jumping in for the thrill, Love Notes is designed to be fast, fun, and fiercely creative.
Films will premiere on the big screen at the Brewery Arts Center on Valentine’s Day, followed by awards, audience favorites, and plenty of cinematic swooning.
