Hammered Brass Earrings Workshop
In this hands-on workshop, join local jeweler Aurora of Snowflower Studio to craft your own stylish brass jewelry!We'll start with raw blank brass shapes and learn various metal fabrication techniques, including metal hammering, shaping, drilling, sanding, aging, and polishing. You will have the option to choose your shape and style of hammered earrings or to follow a pattern.
Gold-filled ear wires (or hoop wire) will be provided along with all the necessary materials and tools to create something uniquely your own. No previous experience with metalworking or fabrication is needed! Just bring your curiosity and creativity, and we'll see you soon.
Heads up! Hammering can be loud - basic ear plugs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you are noise sensitive.
