Wild Horse Children’s Theater presents the Northern Nevada premiere of “JUNIE B. JONES. JR…THE MUSICAL”, a hilarious adaptation of Barbara Park’s wildly popular best-selling book series.
Laugh yourself silly with Junie B. ones on her first day of first grade, where many changes are in store. Junie’s best friend Lucille has found new best friends, and Junie B. makes friends with herb, the new kid in school. While in Mr. Scary’s class Junie has trouble reading the blackboard, and she may need glasses! Add in a friendly cafeteria lady, an intense kickball tournament and a “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal,” and first grade has never been more exciting! Junie B soon learns that things don’t always stay the same, and that doesn’t have to be a bad thing!

But that’s part of what makes her adventures important, and ultimately, relatable. We all struggle with good judgement at times, both children and adults, so it’s no wonder that watching Junie B. sort through the world in front of her is so endlessly entertaining.”

Performances are at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall in Carson City, Friday, April 20 & 27 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21 & 28 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 22 & 29 at 2:00 p.m.
