Event Description:
Each October, Nevadans turn their attention to the state capitol, Carson City, home of the “official” Nevada Day Parade. Since 1938, the Nevada Day Parade in Carson City has been an annual coming together to celebrate Nevada’s heritage and the founding of this great state on October 31, 1864! The Nevada Day parade is scheduled to take place on October 29, 2022 moving from north to south along Carson Street in Carson City. It starts at 10:00 am however, Nevada Day hosts many other activities such as rock drilling, beard contests and more. Don’t miss the balloons that fill the sky that morning beginning at 8:00 am.
Where is the event?
Parade begins in Carson City at the intersections of William St. and N. Carson St., and ends at the intersection of Stewart St. and S. Carson St.
