Train Ride Virginia City to Gold Hill Opening Weekend!
Event Description:
Kick off the summer with the kind of fun you can only have in Virginia City. Start with a ride through Nevada history as we open our 2026 season and begin celebrating our Golden Anniversary. Climb aboard the historic train for a scenic journey to Gold Hill along the original 1869 route, featuring breathtaking high desert views, historic mining sites, open-air cars, and legendary stories. Opening weekend festivities throughout Virginia City include live music, a parade, and the famous Model A Hill Climb.
Steam and Diesel Daily Trains begin Memorial Day Weekend and run through October.
