JOIN is a community organization with one main goal, to help individuals achieve success through lasting employment and financial independence. 

The Navy League is comprised of 50,000 civilians in more than 250 councils around the world working to support sea service members and their families. We do this through a variety of education programs that remind our fellow citizens that the United States is a maritime nation whose national economic and security interests are inextricably tied to the freedom of the seas.

The Nevada State Museum in Carson City welcomes you to explore the historic, cultural and natural heritage that defines the region through people and place. 

Discover Nevada through the museum's permanent exhibits and collections. Want to see how Nevadans coined money over a century ago? Start your tour at the Carson City Mint building. Take your trip even further back in time to Nevada's Changing Earth and over 40 million years of evolution. If you prefer manmade history, travel deep into a famous Nevada mine.

Experience the state through science, art and lecture through educational programs and a series of ongoing educational events. Dissect a flower, explore the desert or participate in a discussion about the strange things that live under the surface of Lake Tahoe. All ages and interests are welcome.

Pinkerton Ballet Theatre is a non-profit dance company organized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

We strive to promote the art of dance and sense of community by providing opportunities for the community’s youth to participate in performances alongside professional dancers. Pinkerton Ballet Theatre has also participated in outreach programs to encourage dance among youth that have not had exposure to dance instruction and strive to bring the art of dance to the rural areas of Nevada. We do it for the passion and love of dance and the lifelong friendships is brings.

Join a group of professionals and hobbyists interested in geology, rocks/minerals, archaeology, and exploring the history of Nevada.

We'll have meetings to discuss news and interesting topics relating to geology as well as organizing fun adventures to explore in person.
