Event Description:
The Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration happens this weekend at the Nevada State Museum! Friday, enjoy the altar presentations and Saturday from 10-3 a full day of fun, entertainment and more!
Get into the spirit of Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with an ofrenda presentation from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 inside the Dema Guinn Concourse. Several beautifully designed ofrendas, or altars, will be on display for public viewing. Ofrendas not only tell the stories of loved ones that have passed on, but they also are meant to welcome departed spirits with offerings. Admission is free for this special preview of the Nevada State Museum’s annual Dia De Los Muertos celebration.
