3 Day Art Conference
The Nevada Arts Council (NAC), a division of the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs that helps to stimulate artistic experiences and economic activity across the state, will host Intersections, the Nevada Creative Conference, to offer educational sessions regarding the arts’ ability to positively impact communities, businesses, education, health, economies, and more.
Featuring reputable speakers including Julie Kline, director of education and training with Lifetime Arts, Christy Sakamoto, the impact manager for popular immersive art experience Meow Wolf and Dr. Genna Styles-Lyas, arts and economic prosperity 6 (AEP6) director for community engagement and equity at Americans for the Arts, a national arts advocacy organization, the conference aims to give attendees tools and methods for becoming more effective creators, producers, storytellers and advocates for arts and creativity in Nevada.
