Creating With Glass
In this workshop students will be introduced to the properties and uniqueness of designing with glass and then move on to making a project of their own. Students will learn about glass and how it can be cut, shaped, draped, slumped, nipped, stacked, combed, molded, etched and sandblasted.
Instructor Susan Principe has been fascinated with glass and took her first stained glass class in the S.F. Bay Area in 1990's. Eventually her focus turned to fused glass in 2012 and she has concentrated solely on the art of creating pieces using fusible glass ever since. She has studied the application of various techniques with instructors from within the U.S. and Canada and continues to learn, practice and experiment in the medium of fused glass. Sue enjoys participating in numerous art fairs and shows, exhibiting and selling her work in California and Nevada.
