Known for their high-energy shows and powerhouse sound, they’ve earned a place in the California Blues Hall of Fame and were named “Best Live Band” by Oakland Magazine and East Bay Express.

The DELTA WIRES began as a college blues project by front man Ernie Pinata, tracing the genre’s journey from Mississippi Delta field hollers to electric Chicago blues. What started in East Bay clubs like Esther’s Orbit Room and Mandrake’s quickly evolved with sit-ins from blues icons and stage time with legend into one of the tightest, most exciting blues bands on the scene.
