Muscle Powered Annual Bull Thistle Pull
This is a project that we do once a year with the Carson City Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (CCPROS). Horse Creek Ranch is a unique Conservation Easement that CCPROS has with the private ranch owner that protects this beautiful piece of property from being developed. As a part of the agreement the owner needs to keep this invasive species under control and we volunteer once a year to go up and help him. Be prepared fro some possibly wet and boggy areas and dress accordingly.
Specifics
Meet at the Highway 50 Park n'Ride at 9:00 (come a little early to sign-in)
Required: closed toed shoes or boots. Bring a bag lunch to enjoy afterwards.
Recommended: long pants, and long sleeved shirts, hats, sunscreen and water.
Muscle Powered will provide gloves and bags.
