Mile High Jazz Band Association2026 Jazz Extravaganza

It’s “big-band jazz times four” as the Mile High Jazz Band teams up with three outstanding youth jazz bands for the 22nd annual Jazz Extravaganza, benefiting student music programs. Joining Mile High this year are the Carson High School Jazz Band (Nick Jacques), the Carson Middle School Jazz Band (Stephanie Van Orman), and the Reno Youth Jazz Orchestra (Nichole Heglund). The concert will feature all four big bands plus vocalist Jakki Ford. “For more than two decades, we’ve loved performing with youth jazz bands and watching their talent and growth,” said Mile High Jazz Band leader and pianist David Bugli.
