Home Sweet Homicide: Murder Mystery Theater Dinner
Get ready for an evening of fatal fun when Lollipop Productions
in cooperation with the Gold Dust West Casino Hotel presents
“Home Sweet Homicide,” an audience participation murder
mystery by Tony Schwartz and Marylou Ambrose. You will have four
nights in March to use your sleuthing skills to help Hemlock
Holmes solve this dastardly crime. Show dates are March 10th,
16th, 17th and 24th at the Gold Dust West Casino Hotel in Carson
City.
What can you expect from an audience participation murder
mystery? Fun the minute you walk in the door. Showroom doors open
at 5:45 p.m. Once inside you’ll get a chance to mingle with the
famous detective, Hemlock Holmes; his sidekick Whatsun; his
servants, Mr. and Mrs. Drudgery; his friend, Dr. Charles Ovary;
and Ovary’s nurse, Frau Franksenbeans, as they drop hints about
themselves and the show and give you a chance to ask questions.
There will be a no host bar inside the showroom for ordering your
favorite cocktail or soda and at 6:30 p.m. You’ll enjoy a
delicious buffet with entrees of St. Louis BBQ Ribs and chicken,
traditional sides and salads, seasonal vegetables and assorted
desserts while the cast keeps a low profile. The main show starts
after dinner between 7:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
All the action takes place in the parlor of Hemlock Holmes. Why
did Holmes travel to upstate New York to visit the Cozy Crypt
Sanatorium? Who is this captivating “cousin” called Elmira --
and is she really a cousin? What mysterious disease afflicts
Elmira, and can Dr. Ovary cure it? Keep your eyes and ears open
for clues, because someone will be ruthlessly murdered at the end
of the show, and it’s up to the audience to guess who-done-it!
Every cast member is a suspect, including Holmes himself. The
first 3 people to correctly guess the murderer and motive win
prizes.
Tickets for the dinner and show are $36.95 per person for General
Admission and $33.95 for Seniors (60+) and Military (Active or
Retired) (Ticket prices does not include service fees). TICKETS
MUST BE PURCHASED A MINIMUM OF 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE
PERFORMANCE YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
