Lampe Park is just off U.S. Highway 395 and is the largest outdoor recreational area in Carson Valley. With 32 acres to explore, Lampe Park is a covered with trees and boasts a scenic open view of the Sierra Nevada. The park features three softball fields, two baseball fields (home to Carson Valley Little League), a soccer field, two volleyball courts and a restroom area with a concession stand. The park is full of winding paths, plenty of benches and numerous picnic areas. Willow Creek weaves through the park and is a perfect place to relax on a bench or watch the ducks. Covered picnic pavilions are available to barbecue and celebrate after a baseball game or to hold outdoor parties or events.
