The Nevada Gift Shop stocks a variety of Nevada-themed gifts, apparel and gear, including metal signs, books, mugs, stickers, flags and so much more. All the proceeds from gift shop sales go to support the annual Nevada Day Parade, the World Championship Rock Drill Competition and the Beard Contest, all of which take place at the Nevada Day celebration on the last Saturday in October. The gift shop is run by Nevada Day, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)3 dedicated to preserving the celebration of Nevada's statehood, which took place on October 31, 1864.
