gadZooks is a creative place on the edge of downtown Gardnerville. Carson Valley is known for its many talented painters and sculptors, and gadZooks is the place you'll find much of their work collected in a gallery storefront. With 10 local artists and 30 art consignors featured, gadZooks is packed with all kinds of art, sculptures and objects. There are wall paintings celebrating the scenic beauty of the valley and its surrounding mountains, hand-carved wooden ducks, colorful pottery, stitched-by-hand quilts and many other works of art on display in the store's many rooms. Plus there are locally crafted jewelry and artistic gifts. Everything at gadZooks is the only one of its kind. The store also offers classes in watercolor painting and holds events such as art receptions and art, music and poetry nights with free admission.
