Bank Saloon is a modern, upscale bar with a long history as a Carson City watering hole. It opened as Bank Saloon in 1899, surviving hold-ups at gunpoint and Prohibition raids, and was later known under a variety of monikers before it closed and the building sat empty for almost two decades. In 2020 the Nevada Building Alliance and restauranteur Richard Bragiel teamed up to open a reimagined Bank Saloon. Just across the street from the Nevada Legislature, it is the place to see and be seen for after-work craft cocktails in Downtown Carson City. With black walnut woodwork throughout and stunning paintings from the McFadden art collection adorning the walls, the atmosphere is classic and elegant. Bank Saloon specializes in handcrafted classic cocktails with a modern twist and made with premium and local spirits, fresh fruits and herbs, bitters and tonics. They also serve craft beer and wine.
