Hot August Nights
The Biggest Little City revs into high gear for Hot August Nights, the largest classic car and nostalgic event in the country! Visitors pay tribute to the exquisitely powerful automobiles and electrifying music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. The world’s premier classic car event, more than 5,000 vehicles from the golden era of design are showcased with events throughout Reno and Sparks. Restored hot rods and sexy muscle cars give car enthusiasts a first-hand experience of popular decades gone by.
The event is free for spectators and there’s a lot of eye candy for lovers of cars dating back to 1912. Other events include the ever-popular Drag Races & Burnouts presented by AMSOIL, Classic Cherry Show-n-Shine, live nightly entertainment and hundreds of activities scheduled throughout the event at locations throughout town.
