Hot August Nights
The Biggest Little City revs into high gear for Hot August Nights, the largest classic car and nostalgic event in the country! This year will be bigger than ever for our 40th Anniversary Celebration! For 10 straight days, the streets rumble with horsepower, music fills the air, and the nostalgia of the 50s, 60s, and 70s takes center stage. The world’s premier classic car event, more than 5,000 vehicles from the golden era of design are showcased with events throughout Reno and Sparks. Restored hot rods and sexy muscle cars give car enthusiasts a first-hand experience of popular decades gone by.
The event is free for spectators and there’s a lot of eye candy for lovers of cars dating back to 1912. Other events include the ever-popular Drag Races & Burnouts presented by AMSOIL, Classic Cherry Show-n-Shine, live nightly entertainment and hundreds of activities scheduled throughout the event at locations throughout town. Come celebrate America’s love affair with classic cars and rock n’ roll!
