Carson Valley Art Studio Tour
The Carson Valley Arts Council announces the 5th Annual Carson Valley Art Studio Tour. Bring family and friends for this free, creative, drive yourself tour of 18 studios with 26 artists. Plan a fall getaway weekend in the beautiful Carson Valley, full of music and ART!
Meet the artists, see their art and learn about their creative process. All artists will have their work for sale. The tour includes the studios and art like western watercolor, porcelain painting, watercolor on silk, marbled paper and fabric, pastels, oils and sculpture, watercolor, bronze sculptures, multiple media, silver and gemstone jewelry, watercolor, acrylic, photography, felted paintings and ornaments, silversmithing, pottery, batik and watercolor, oil landscapes and painted gourd.
Printed and online studio maps are available at the Carson Valley Arts Council and at local galleries. The tour website also includes an interactive online map and downloadable PDF file with the studios, galleries information and art examples and background for each artist. The website also includes a schedule of special demonstrations and music features. Visit studios become eligible to win free art.
