Skin Cancer Screenings
Beauty is skin deep, but so is skin cancer. Get your skin checked at least once a year for signs of skin cancer through our no-cost screenings.
While many people think tan skin is beautiful, it can also lead to skin damage and even cancer. Overexposure to sunlight (including tanning) and not properly protecting yourself from the sun’s harmful UV rays can cause skin cancer to develop in any area of the body. Avoiding long periods of time directly in the sun, using sunscreen, and wearing UV protective clothing is your best defense against developing skin cancer.
Carson Tahoe Health & Wellness Institute is offering no-cost skin cancer screening. The first 25 people who sign-up will receive a fun “no-sun” gift. Informational videos about skin cancer prevention will be available throughout June at CarsonTahoe.com.
Appointments are required with limited slots available. Reserve your spot here.
