Hopefest9, Free Outdoor Concert to Raise Funds for Local Patients Facing Cancer
The Carson Tahoe Health Foundation is excited to announce the official date for their annual fundraiser, HopeFest9. The free summer evening concert will be headlined by Eric Hutchinson, the international platinum-selling singer-songwriter, who captures his audience with his lively music set. He will be gracing the HopeFest stage for the first time ever, performing some of his top hits like, “Dear Me”, “Ok it’s all right by me” and “Rock & Roll”, as well as new music.
All proceeds from food, drink, and raffle ticket sales will go towards direct patient support for those facing cancer. These funds benefit the critical needs of patients that go beyond the hospital walls, such as gas to get to treatment, no-cost lodging at the Merriner Cottages, and help with insurance co-pays and life-saving medications. This support allows patients and their families to be free from fear of losing their home, running out of gas on their way to treatment, or other financial burdens during such a devastating time in their lives.
Since 2011, HopeFest has raised over $700,000 for the Carson Tahoe Cancer Resource Center. Although HopeFest is only one day, it provides 365 days of support to local patients in need.
Additionally, for the 9thconsecutive year, HopeFest’s grand raffle prize is sponsored by Dick Campagni’s Dealership Group. One lucky raffle winner will have a choice $10,000 cash or a brand-new car from Toyota or Ford. Tickets can be purchased at or prior to HopeFest at locations throughout Carson City including Carson Tahoe Gift Shop, Carson Tahoe Marketing Office, and Health & Wellness Institute. Raffle tickets are priced at $20 each or 6 for $100.
