Event Description:
Carson City Chamber of Commerce & Miles Construction are sponsoring the 7-member USAF Mobility Band for a show on the McFadden Plaza Stage (following the Nevada Day Beard Contest). They are a part of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West stationed at Travis Air Force Base and a high energy rock band that have become very popular in Carson City. This is their third appearance to help celebrate Nevada’s most popular holiday tradition.
Thanks to Bill Miles of Miles Construction, the popular United States Air Force Mobility Band will again appear on the float with the Fleet Reserve Association in the forthcoming Nevada Day Parade on Saturday, October 26th. Miles Construction is providing the truck, power generator and flatbed for the band.
