Please join the SBA Nevada District Office for a presentation overview on federal contracting certifications and funding options at the Dayton Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Federal contracting certifications aid small businesses in competing for set-aside government contracts. SBA will discuss program benefits, and you will learn how these programs can benefit your business. The federal government uses certification programs to help small businesses win at least at 23% of all federal contracting dollars each year.  Businesses that participate in the program certification will receive SBA’s Empower to Grow (E2G) Program hands-on training and executive education that is tailored specifically for eligible small businesses.

The SBA offers a wide range of funding programs to qualified small businesses that cannot obtain financing on reasonable terms through traditional lending channels. SBA sets the guidelines for loans and reducing lender risk.  These loans can be used for most business purposes, including purchasing real estate, equipment, and materials.
