Cornhole for a Cause
Sierra Nevada Realtors (SNR) is proud to announce its 11th annual Cornhole for a Cause Tournament on Friday, Sept. 11.
The event will be hosted at SNR’s Carson City office located at 300 S. Curry Street. Check-in for the tournament will begin at 4 p.m., with kickoff at 5 p.m., in the North Parking Lot of the SNR office.
This year’s tournament participants will have the opportunity to compete for raffle and cash prizes, with food, drinks, and live entertainment featuring music from KBULL Country 98.1. Along with the cornhole competition, teams are encouraged to dress up in creative costumes to add to the fun. The team with the most creative outfits will win a prize.
Proceeds from the tournament will contribute directly to the Sierra Nevada Realtors Foundation, which provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Every year, 24 students are awarded $1,000 scholarships to pursue education at four-year universities, community colleges, trade schools, and technical programs. In 2025, the Sierra Nevada Realtors Foundation awarded $23,000 in scholarships to local students.
Team registrations are now open. The fee is $100 for a two-person team; this includes two food tickets, drink tickets, and raffle tickets. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the Sierra Nevada Realtors, which provides scholarships for local Northern Nevada high school graduates.
