2nd Annual Veterans Day Fun Run
The Carson High Safe Grad Committee invites the community to lace up their running shoes for the second annual Veterans Day Fun Run
Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Korean War Veterans Memorial Park located at 600 Marsh Rd, Carson City. The event includes a 5K run starting at 9 a.m. and a 1-mile fun run beginning at 9:15 a.m.
Proceeds from the event will help fund the 2026 Safe Grad celebration, a volunteer-led program that provides graduating seniors with a safe, sober night of celebration following commencement. This year, a portion of proceeds will also support Nation’s Finest, a nonprofit organization serving local veterans and their families.
Registration is open now at www.carsonhighsafegrad.com/fun-run.html. The race is open to runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels, with space for up to 150 participants.
