Carson City Events2024 Kids Fishing Day - Carson City Host Lions

This fun event is designed to introduce kids to fishing and conservation.  All kids under 12, and their families or adult guardians, are invited to attend for free! Volunteers will be available to answer questions and to help kids in need of assistance with fishing.

We encourage participants to bring their own rod and reel. A limited amount of rods and reels will be available for use by kids under 12 who don't have their own. Rods, reels, bait and tackle will be provided, until supplies run out.

Participants who are 12 and older will need a valid Nevada fishing license. 2 fish limit per person.

Prizes and concessions will also be available.
