Candidate Forum
Event Description:
Come out for a candidate forum hosted by the nonpartisan and nonprofit organization, Build2Win. This forum is designed to provide residents with valuable insights into the goals and achievements of several local government departments such as Treasury, District Attorney, Sheriff, Clerk-Recorder and Supervisor.
Schedule:
- 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Carson City local positions (Don Gibson and David Bailey
- 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Assembly District (AD) 40 Republican candidates (Drew Ribar, Oscar Fuentes, Rich Harvey Stacy Woodbury)
- 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Discussion on New City Hall among neighbors - what is next?
Each candidate will have 15 minutes for a presentation, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session. After the candidate presentations, we welcome residents to review downtown development e.g. a New City Hall.
