Carson RV Resort
Wanting something upscale? The recently redesigned Carson RV Resort books itself as a luxury resort and has all the amenities you’d expect in such a place: a pool and spa, a playground, outdoor grills, full hookups, free WiFi and cable, laundry facilities and more. Located in South Carson by Costco and Trader Joe’s at the intersection of Highways 395 and 50, this resort’s location is second to none. Lake Tahoe’s best beaches are only a short drive up Highway 50. Between the pool and Tahoe access, you’ll be enjoying plenty of sunshine and water fun at the Carson RV Resort.

The view from Silver City RV Resort
Silver City RV Resort
Competing with Carson RV Resort for the most amenity-packed RV park in the area, Silver City may just take the cake. Among its offerings are an enormous pool and hot tub, a 1,500-square-foot gym, a fishing pond, a playground, outdoor eating areas and a clubhouse. The 202 RV sites are large and wide, with most of them pull-through. Full hookups are included, along with dump and propane services.
Located south of Carson City on the way to Minden, this RV park is a bit more rural than others on this list, giving you expansive mountain views in all directions and a high desert backdrop along the Carson River behind you. Monthly rates are advertised on their website, and with all the amenities it provides, this could make a good base camp to spend a summer in the Carson City area.

Camp-N-Town is the quintessential Carson RV Park.
Camp-N-Town
If you want to be in the heart of Carson City, Camp-N-Town is the place to be. In north Carson off Highway 395, this convenient location offers access to Carson City’s parks and downtown eateries, while still being in striking distance of Lake Tahoe. A Good Sam park, Camp-N-Town has free cable TV, free WiFi and monthly slots if you need to stay for the long term. You'l find a dump station, laundry facilities and recreation room, and pets are welcome.
Carson Valley RV Resort
Imagine stopping in for a few nights at Minden’s premiere casino-hotel while traveling in your RV. The Carson Valley RV Resort is there to accommodate that. With 59 full hookup sites and access to the Carson Valley Inn casino, this is the spot to set your rig and forget it (other than sleeping) while you explore downtown Minden and Gardnerville, with its variety of shops, restaurants, casinos and old buildings. Old town Genoa is also close by. The resort offers all hookups, free cable and WiFi, coin laundry, showers, a pet area, a convenience store with gas and diesel, and a dump station.
Whether you need a long-term or short-term stay, in town or rural, inexpensive or luxurious, the Carson City area has plenty of RV parks to choose from!
