It is the role of the Governors Office of Economic Development (GOED) to stimulate business expansion and retention; encourage entrepreneurial enterprise, attract new business and facilitate community development.
Topics to be covered by Mr. Potts will range from :
- Definition of a regional economy
- Economic diversification
- Community Development such as Infrastructure, workforce development, youth retention, marketing the community.
GOED has been meeting with elected officials and community leaders to define the future growth of the Northern Sierra, Northeastern, Central and Southern regions.
What is the vision for this state? What awaits your families as the state plan come to reality? Can you influence the plan? How can you ensure that your community is ready? Are you prepared?
We will also begin discussing details of our upcoming Saturday, March 7th Republican Party Precinct Meetings selecting delegates to attend the Carson City Republican County convention. Our Carson City Republican County Convention on Saturday, April 11th. The goal of the Precinct and County Convention is to select delegates and create a Republican platform that will be submitted to the State of Nevada Republican Convention on May 16-17th.
This year the Nevada Republican Party is unanimously endorsing President Trump for re-election.
Precinct and County Conventions will be held at the Casino Fandango and the State Convention is in Reno with a location to be determined.
